Application : Suitable for use in conduit and for fixed protected insulation. Particularly suitable for wiring in fire and explosion prone areas, chemical factories, densely wired areas, public buildings, schools, hospitals, commercial complexes, theatres etc.
Specifications : Generally conforms to IS-8130:2013, IS-694:2010, IS-5831:1984.
Marking : The cables are PRINTED WITH NAME “GEMINI CABLES HR-FR (Size)1100V IS:694 CM/L NO-8381482”, WITH METER MARKING ON EVERY COIL.
Colours : Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, GREY, WHITE
Packing : 90 mtr. coil is packed in protective cartons upto size 6 Sq. mm . Project packing of 180 mtr. also available.
LENGTH MARKING : EACH COIL IS MARKED WITH COMPUTERIZED METER MARKING FOR EXACT LENGTH AND ASSURANCE.
Conductor : Many thin strands of Electrolytic Copper are fine–drawn simultaneously for uniformity of Resistance, Dimension, and Flexibility. The drawn strands are twisted in high precision machines and compacted. This not only imparts circularity to the bunched conductor but also prevents the tendency of the strands to separate and exert internal pressure on the insulation when the cable is bent during installation and usage.
Insulation : Specially formulated Heat Resistant PVC compound is used. A rating of 105°C enables the cable to withstand overloads without compromising safety. “FR” property ensures the flame is not propagated. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapors. This prevents ageing and cracking during usage in kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls, chemical industries, etc.
